Last night, Monday April 8th, Little hosted their red carpet premiere and screening, the new film which features Regina Hall (Girls Trip), Marsai Martin (Black-ish), and Issa Rae (Insecure). The movie serves as a refreshing comedy about the power in sisterhood and having a second chance to not only grow up, but glow up. Power 106 was in attendance and caught up with JD McCrary, who is starring in the new Lion King movie releasing in the summer.
What are you most excited for here at the Little screening?
Just to see the movie and see some stars, that’s all I’m happy for!
Who’s your favorite hip-hop artist right now?
I’d have to say maybe Logic… no, Kehlani! I’ve been listening to a lot of her, she’s really good.
What can we expect from the Lion King?
You will see everything in a whole different perspective from what you saw from the classic film. You will be blown away!
