After news spread that 21 Savage was arrested by ICE fans and friends jumped to social media to show their support for the artist.
Savage is being detained for an expired visa which is being viewed by many as a injustice being as though the artist came to America at a young age, including Black Lives Matter. The advocacy group partnered with Color of Change to start a petition demanding that the rapper not be deported on the basis that he has been in the US since childhood and has no previous criminal convictions.
Celebs such as Post Malone, DJ Khaled, Cardi B, Quavo, Lil Yachty, Guapdad 4000 and more have all shown their support for Savage as they posted the image below advocating for the signage of the petition. As of now the petition currently has over 80,000 signatures out of the required 100,000 needed according to the OrganzieFor website. You can show your support for the “a lot” rapper by signing the petition here.
