Robyn Rihanna Fenty is notoriously known for being the “bad gal” of Instagram. Since the good girl has gone bad she has unapologetically uplifted minorities at every opportunity possible. The Ocean’s 8 star has branded herself as a woman that is consistently advocating for body positivity and inclusivity. Rihanna continues to be a trailblazer as she recently celebrated the 4th year of her Clara Lionel Foundation Global Scholarship Program at the annual Diamond Ball.

The US Weekly reports that a source confirmed Rihanna was the NFL’s first choice to perform but allegedly Maroon 5 is going to be the Super Bowl halftime act. Rumors of Maroon 5 performing raised a lot of controversy because people believed an Atlanta artist should have been booked to highlight the talent within the city. It was recently revealed that the NFL reached out to Rihanna to perform at the Super Bowl LIII halftime show, but RihRih turned down the opportunity in support of Colin Kaepernick taking a knee.
