We are all in the midst of the NBA Playoffs at the moment which means some teams have lost with dignity and some have moved on to try to take the series.  But, the NBA hasn’t disregarded Drake hosting its very first NBA Awards.

During Kentucky coach John Calipari’s podcast, Drake was a guest and made the announcement of the hosting gig himself.  NBA made the gig official Tuesday morning saying he will for sure be hosting the awards.

The NBA Awards will broadcast on Monday, June 26th at 9 P.M. EST on TNT.  It will happen in NYC at Basketball City at Pier 36.  The award ceremony will also be handing out awards for NBA Most Valuable Player, NBA Rookie of the Year, NBA Sixth Man Award, and more.
