Kendrick Lamar and Shaquille O’neal seem like a a strange pair for a commercial let alone a commercial that’s plot revolves around soap. However, the two meshed perfectly together in a funny new American Express advertisement. Watching these two shop for soap was seriously hilarious.
The basketball monster, Shaq, and the lyrical beast, Kendrick, are seen smelling luxurious soaps in this ad to find their perfect scent. Kendrick shows off his personalized scent, the “Luscious Lamar Bar”, and Shaq is clearly salty. Kendrick being the benevolent rapper that he is had already personalized a scent for his bball friend called “Shea Butter Shaq”. Moral of the story is K dot gives out thoughtful Christmas gifts.
