Lil Uzi Vert has been making waves in the hip-hop industry this year with his XXL Freshman Class of 2016 cover, his dope mixtapes, and many hit singles. One of his singles in particular has even helped him to achieve a career milestone already!
According to the RIAA Lil Uzi Vert’s “Money Longer” has been certified gold this month, as of October 11th. The 22 year old Philadelphia rapper dropped this song back in February and it has been blowing up ever since! The turnt up track, produced by Maaly Raw and Don Cannon, was a part of his popular mixtape that was released back in April, Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World.
Just yesterday Uzi jumped on a fire remix of A$AP Ferg’s smash single, “New Level”, with Future and A$AP Rocky. Clearly his rap career is only beginning and this certified gold record is just going to be one of many achievements for this hip-hop rookie.
