Kid Cudi Postpones Album But Releases New Singles

Kid Cudi postponed the release of his anticipated upcoming album Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’, but dropped two of his songs instead.

Cudder announced this week he was dropping his album on September 30th.  Unfortunately, he posted a picture of a note saying the album won’t be dropping on the original release date due to “minor sample clearances still being finalized.”  A release date, pre order date, and platform availability information is said to be coming soon, but no exact dates yet.

But, when one door closes, another one opens.  Within the same announcement of postponing the album, Cudi also posted he was dropping two songs, “Surfin'” featuring Pharrell and “Frequency”.  Both songs dropped today and are available to download or stream on Apple Music, iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon.
