Lupe Fiasco is taking a stand against technology with his latest video for his single, “Pick Up The Phone”. The song’s lyrics talk about the downside of using smartphones and technology all the time. He explains the issues that come with being so attached to technology and relying on it for a majority of our communication.
Lupe continued to spread this valuable message throughout the new visual as well. It features a powerful story of a man trying to reach what seems to be his girlfriend. The man tries incessantly to text and call his girlfriend as well as check her social media profiles until he eventually finds her passed out in her bathroom next to a bottle of pills.
