Young Thug Sets “Jeffery” Release Date

Set in an interrogation room, Young thug is being questioned about his name and person after person, he responds with “no my name is Jeffery” in a video which was posted to his Instagram earlier today. 

What does that mean? The wait is over for the drop of this mixtape which was originally set to release on  his birthday, August 16th.  

According to 300 executive Lyor Cohen, Young thug is no longer going by his stage name. Instead will go by the title of the mixtape “No, My Name is Jeffrey”. 

The mixtape which is titled after his Government name Jeffrey is now set to be released on August 26th with a written track list that was posted on his twitter and Instagram back on August 13th.

Luckily for fans, the long name is just temporary. In an interview with .Wav Radio (pronounced Dot wav) Young thug commented on the name change saying; 

“I’m Jeffery for one f***ing week,” he continues saying “If I don’t sell a hundred thousand copies, everybody gonna be talking about Jeffrey.”
