Auto Insurance Specialists Best Buy® Gift Card Promotion Official Contest Rules
The following are the rules for “Auto Insurance Specialists Best Buy® Gift Card Promotion” airing Monday, May 3 – Sunday, May 30, 2010. Listeners must receive an automobile insurance quote from AIS to be eligible for a chance to win (1) $25 Best Buy® Gift Card.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT ENHANCE CHANCES OF WINNING.
The contest is open to all California residents 18 and over with legal identification. Full and part-time employees, and their families, of KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications, its representatives, its agencies or employees of any other AM, FM or television broadcast station serving Southern California and persons, and their families, who have been employed by KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications, AIS, Mercury General Corporation, prize providers, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and their agents, are ineligible. Any person employed by KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications, AIS, Mercury General Corporation and its subsidiaries and their agents, during the thirty (30) day period immediately preceding the effective date of the contest are also ineligible to enter or participate in any and all KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications contests.
Listeners must call AIS (800) 777-4AIS for an automobile insurance quote between the dates of 5/3/10 and 5/30/10, and receive an AIS quote letter by 6/6/10. The AIS quote letter must include the 1) name of the sales representative on the quote, 2) client reference number 3) name of quote recipient.
Quote recipients must email or fax their AIS quote, along with their daytime phone number and email address, to KPWR-FM by no later than Sunday, June 6th, 2010: By email to; jeffg@power106.com; and by fax to 818-846-4106. KPWR-FM will notify the first 100 quote recipients to successfully email or fax their AIS quotes to KPWR-FM via phone call and/or email that they have qualified for one (1) $25 Best Buy® Gift Card, subject to verification of eligibility.
First 100 quote recipients to request an automobile insurance quote between 5/3/10 and 5/30/10, and to successfully email or fax their AIS quote to KPWR-FM by 6/6/10 as set forth above will be awarded (1) $25 Best Buy® Gift Card, subject to verification of eligibility.
Winners are not eligible to participate in any KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications contests for a period of thirty (30) days from the original date of qualifying or winning a contest and or prize conducted by KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications.
Each quote recipient must pick up his or her $25 Best Buy® Gift Card. Gift cards are subject to the terms printed on the gift card. Taxes are solely the responsibility of winners. All prizes, unless otherwise specified by KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications, must be picked up within thirty (30) days from the date won, between the hours of 9AM and 5PM during regular office business hours at the KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications studios and offices located at 2600 West Olive, Suite 800, Burbank, California, 91505. Holidays are included in the thirty-day pick-up period. Winners will be required to present their valid government issued photo identification and their social security card to claim prize. It is the responsibility of the winners, unless otherwise specified by KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications, to claim their prizes within the time limit. Prizes specified to be picked-up must be claimed in person and signed for by the winner. Designated winner’s representatives will be allowed to claim prizes only if KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications is informed in writing and by phone that such a representative will be picking up the designated winner’s prize, and that the representative has been given the power of attorney to sign a prize release for the winner and or approved by a representative of KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications.
There are no prize substitutions or cash value trade for prizes won in this contest. Prizes must be accepted as won or forfeited. There are no product or color substitutions.
Prizes are non-transferable.
KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications is not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmission, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, other causes beyond sponsor’s control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. No responsibility is assumed for: any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulted from participation in or downloading any materials from this contest. In the event of a dispute over an electronic entry, prize will be awarded to that name on the entry form, not the owner of the e-mail account.
Additions or deletions to these rules may be made at any time by station management, without notice, but will be put in writing, and be available for public inspection.
Odds of winning in any contest are determined by the number of participants.

Participants agree (a) that KPWR-FM/POWER 106 FM/Emmis Communications, AIS, Mercury General Corporation, prize providers, and their respective parent entities, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, any companies who are promotional participants or prize providers, and Web masters and Web suppliers, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes related activity, or for any printing, production, technical, typographical, human or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize; and (b) except where legally prohibited, winners grant (and agree to confirm that grant in writing) permission for Sponsor and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising, trade and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the Internet and/or World Wide Web, in perpetuity, without notice, review or approval.
