Coachella may be over but festival szn is JUST getting started!

April may be the month that brings showers for May flowers but its also brings all the festival lineups you could ever want. Now unless you’re rolling in the dough theres a pretty good chance you can’t go to both of them, unless you’re like an influencer or something and you can go for free, in which case I probably hate you. JK not hate, just a little jealously. OK maybe a lot alright…

So here’s the breakdown of who’s who and whats what so you can start planning for your LIT summer.

If you’re more into EDM…

Go to HARD Summer. Now once upon a time, HARD was actually more hip-hop centered and while you’ll def get to see amazing acts like Kid Cudi (hello this is reason enough to go) Sheck Wes and Gunna; you should really only consider this festival if you’re wanting to break your neck at Excision B2B Nghtmre and then shake them clappas at Floss B2B 4B. Now if you are into the EDM scene this is a STACKED lineup, just make sure you have a chiropractor on stand by after this one! It’s going down August 3 & 4 and you can get more info HERE.

If you’ve got a little broader taste…

Life Is Beautiful is probably more for you! “If you don’t want no problems…” and want to see a WIDER variety of artists you can go from rapping every word at Chance (see what I did there), then meet your friends in the “middle” and sing your little heart out at ZEDD, then go have a “lovely” time at Billie Eilish, then you can be “baaaaallinnn’ like a mo’f***in’ pro” at Sheck Wes and I’m sure Post Malone will have you sayin “Wow”. Ok i’m done with the puns I swear. But seriously this lineup is a lot more diverse than Hard so if you want Hip-Hop, EDM, Alternative, R&B; you can get all of that and more at LIB. So if you’re considering this festival mark your calendars for September 20-22 and book that flight to Vegas baby!

Hopefully this gave you a little more perspective, even though this is a TOUGH choice. If you still can’t choose, you can also get a second job, find a sugar daddy or mama OR like me pinch those pennies hunty! Stop with the $5 coffees a day and don’t buy that shirt you don’t need from Zara, EVEN if it’s on sale. This summer of music is NOT to be missed and I suffer from a very bad case of fomo so I’ll definitely be at both; pls don’t judge me!
