Last week hip-hop applauded Detroit icon Eminem for his explosive freestyle against President Trump that premiered on BET’s Hip Hop awards. While many praised the rapper, there was one artist who wasn’t quite the fan of the Trump diss.

‘Big Fish’ rapper Vince Staples recently spoke with Pitchfork’s In Sight Out series and the emcee sounded off on the freestyle, calling it ‘trash.’ Staples also went on to say, ‘My favorite thing about the Eminem freestyle is the wall of dark-skinned black people behind him.’

Now, Vince has taken to his Twitter to clear up his statements about the freestyle. Adding to the Eminem slander, the emcee stated:

The mnm statement was all in good fun I like him & Kim. @Pitchfork took it out of context because they thirsty. Lemme get these jokes off….And yall not about to sit here and try to convice me the Donald the bitch line had y’all out y’all seat shut up. Of course Twitter chimmed in with their opinions on both Em and Vince.
