Cali Christmas artist Lil Yachty was just interviewed by Hot 97’s Ebro, on the latest episode of his Beats 1 Show. You may remember hearing recently that Lil Yachty had said that Biggie Smalls was “overrated” during an edition of the “Over/Under” segment.

Yachty had a lot of people talking about that comment, and he decided to set the record straight with Ebro on his Beats 1 Show about the Biggie comment, along with some other pressing topics. “Until about three weeks ago, I had never listened to a Biggie song,” Yachty admited. Lil Yachty also quoted a his favorite Biggie line, and told Ebro that he hadn’t lreally listen to too much 2Pac. Check out the video below, and watch Lil Yachty freestyle to “Flava in Ya Ear.”  

During the interview, Lil Yachty told Ebro about his influences, which included Coldplay, Kid Cudi, Kanye West, and Lil B, and premiered a new song called “Judgement Free.”
