Mary J. Blige Interviews Hillary Clinton

Mary J. Blige Interviews Hillary Clinton

Mary J. Blige new Apple Music Show “The 411” – presumably paying homage to Blige’s

debut album “What’s the 411?”. The Apple Music Show is set to release this Friday with her first guest being none other than democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.

Apple shared a couple of sneak peek clips from the interview with Clinton including Mary’s

impromptu singing to the former secretary of state,  “American Skin (41 Shots),” a Bruce

Springsteen song about the death of Amadou Diallo at the hands of police, while holding hands with Hillary Clinton.

Blige made sure not to hold back on those touchy topics related to race, police brutality, and identity in America. One question released in the clips, “A lot of people in my community think that Obama was blocked in Congress because he was black. How are you going to do what he wasn’t able to?”
