It was Lit at The Power 106 All Stars Basketball Game
The highly-anticipated Power 106 All Stars basketball game finally went down on Sunday, September 11. The Power Ballaz and Power Playaz went head-to-head at the Galen Center in USC. The auditorium seated about 10,000 seats and it was almost at full capacity. Stars like Chris Brown, Lil Dicky, and Airdogg came a couple of hours early to hit the court and practice before their big game. During the game, Coach D'Angelo Russell and Coach Jordan Clarkson stood by the sidelines and rooted for their teams, while playing around and just having fun. Alex Aiono, A-Trak, and B.o.B. lit up the stage with their half-time performances. The crowd went insane when B.o.B ran into the stands and turned up with fans.
The Power 106 All Stars game wasn't all about turning up though. The event brought in all sorts of familes in the stands and on the court. It was daddy central on the sidelines with some of the Power 106 All Stars. When Omarion wasn't balling, he was carrying his son on the sidelines. J. Cruz caught Problem changing his daughter's diaper in the locker room and Kid Ink was seen various time with his daughter. These men are goals for fathers everywhere. Kids and ball: priorities.
Here are other notable moments of the Power 106 All Stars game:
-DJ Felli Fel accidentally broke Marcellus Wiley's nose
-Bone Collector knocked Mac Miller to the floor
-Bone Collector hit Jay Sean in the face with a basketball
-Chris Brown yelled at security for an incident that went down, not at a fan
Overall, it was an amazing demonstration of camaraderie, as stars, who you wouldn't think would cross paths, were teammates. Not only was it a great event for fans, family, and all things hip-hop and sports-related, Power 106 All Stars benefited Homeboy Industries #schoolsnotprisons.
